Learn Adobe Creative Suite 3 like the back of your hand. Learn press production so you know how to set up a project for printing. Learn web design so you can produce web graphics. Learn some 3D modeling as an extra tool in your personal toolbox. I would say learning the software application listed above won't be enough to become a good graphic designer. If a person has a good creative mind and average computer knowledge he / she can become a good graphic designer

This person has must has a creative mind & basic knowledge about graphic designing. Examples are photo shop, Flash; illustrator .important thing is he wants to know how to operate the computer. Its meaning is he must have computer literacy.

What you have mentioned is correct. But the graphic designer should be full of creativity. I think that is the main ability should have. The creativity is something hard to teach.It is something gwe have to find alone.

No one can teach it.
